Yay my final Pokemon team for this year in HeartGold and in my comics.
When I was younger and playing Pokemon Gold, I would change my team every half year or so.
This is the team I'm using right now.
The last half of last year I had a Pikachu and an Eevee on my team but they were replaced about a week ago.
So anywho, as always, Ka-inu, my Arcanine is there.
His daughter Celeste, the Absol, was introduced in the game and will eventually make her debut in the comics.
Toby the Wartortle has a story behind those scars (so don't worry
) that appears in a story still fermenting in my head.
Derek the Staravia (come on, you know it suits a Staraptor) because Wolfdog cannot function without a flying type...
Spike (Nicknames Big Brother because of his caring nature) the Jolteon is a REALLY old character I had since Red. In the old Gold (and new, I guess) games, the Eevee you receive from Bill is always turned into an Umbreon (Moonlight, another really old character) and he breeds 5 eggs. They are all evolved into their own branch of Eeveelution and an extra Eevee. So, Spike is supposed to be the eldest of all of them, the real big brother with a caring and patient nature. He wears a silver bracelet to give him extra power.
The Poochyena, Luna, is the newest arrival to the team. She was a pain in the ass to get, though. I used to breed a lot in the old Gold but it had been a while and the last thing I bred by chain breeding were Vulpix...ughh.... So I figured Poochyena were easier to breed. My goal was a female (to even the genders in my team) that knew Fire Fang and had the Hidden Power of Psychic.
It took a while (about 3 full days, nearly 7 hours on average) but I can't complain too much. It only took about 30 pups before I got the one I wanted.
BTW IF ANYBODY WANTS A CERTAIN HIDDEN ABILITY IN A POOCHYENA, I HAVE SOME WITH MOST OF THE DIFFERENT TYPES AND BETWEEN THOSE THERE ARE SOME WITH FIRE FANG, HIDDEN POWER AND ONE WITH ROCK SMASH
I SUPPOSE I COULD ASK FOR POINTS FOR THE RARER ONES
THEY HAVE ALL BEEN CATALOGUED SO YOU JUST HAVE TO ASK IF I HAVE THE ONE YOU WANT
